Hubby: This is a review of eToro exchange and not the Youtuber who is excellent. eToro is the worst exchange by far that I have dealt with. You will have to download a different app to just transfer or withdraw money in addition to unnecessary fees. The wallet, which is separate and necessary to transfer any coins, only supports a few coins and not all the listed coins that you can trade on etoro. This results in being stuck with keeping any other coin besides bitcoin, etherum, ripple, litecoin, on their exchange until you sell it. This means you can't transfer it to another exchange or even a cold storage wallet greatly increasing your risk. This exchange is just a terrible idea. Just use something else...anything else.

Sean: So assuming you want to treat BitCoin as a "stock" and not actually use it buy anything. The best option is to buy in the exchange and hold. Once you do sell, just close the position? This would seem to minimise fees. It does seem that fees are pretty steep at every step of the way with bitcoin unless you are dropping thousands at once. Also, when you buy the coin in the exchange where is it if you do not have a wallet? Is it in Etoros own wallet with your name on it so to speak? I have just set up a BRD wallet on my phone because I had a small balance in a site that was closing (they emailed me, not sure why Bitbargain was the site, if you know.). That's in the new wallet on my phone now.
